Click the game to give it your keyboard; click outside it to get the keyboard back. Fullscreen, sound and save states live in the emulator's own sidebar.
You are on a touch device. On-screen controls are provided, but DOOM was built around a keyboard — it plays far better on a desktop.
About this build
DOOM is © 1993 id Software. This is the shareware episode, which id released for free redistribution — not the commercial game. It is served here unmodified and unaltered, with no charge and no advertising, as those terms require. Episodes 2 to 4 are not included; if you enjoy this, the full game is worth buying.
Emulated by js-dos v8 (DOSBox).
js-dos is GPL-2.0
licensed and builds on DOSBox. Pressing start fetches the emulator runtime from
v8.js-dos.com; the game data itself is served from this site.
Full provenance, the exact bundle contents and rebuild instructions are in doom/README.md.
